When praying, have faith and understand that mercy is not earned but given generously. Forgiven people are best at forgiving others. Our lives should not be measured by what we have or lack, and we should only ask for things based on our assignment.
Mercy may not always be free, but we will receive help when we need it, and we will also have opportunities to help others. Ultimately, honoring God brings no loss.
