Pastor Ice opened by emphasizing the transformative power of changing our thinking, underscoring that true change begins in the mind. Referencing James 1:8, he pointed out that one of our greatest battles is bringing our mind, spirit, and body into harmony.

He urged us to pay attention to God’s word and set our minds correctly, offering practical tools for resetting our minds, primarily through the scriptures. Philippians 4:8 was highlighted as a key verse for guiding our thoughts. Pastor Ice reminded us to always screen our thoughts, noting that fear is not from God and only brings torment.

He spoke about the elasticity of the mind, explaining that we can adjust and reshape our thinking. However, if left unattended, our minds will lean toward corruption and stagnation. In terms of effectiveness on this earth, Pastor Ice stressed that the mind is everything.

Learning to be in control when everything else seems out of control is crucial. Taking responsibility to ensure things don’t go wrong is part of this mental discipline. He shared that life often makes room for those who are convinced about something, adjusting to accommodate their conviction.

As believers, we function from the position of overcomers because Christ has already overcome. Pastor Ice concluded with a profound reminder: God is the constant in the equation, and we are the variable.

As we reflect on this message, let’s commit to renewing our minds daily, aligning our thoughts with God’s word, and stepping into the fullness of life He has planned for us.
