  • Empowered by Righteousness – Pastor Joseph ice

The morning session of KBC ’25 Day 6 was a powerful time of revelation and insight as Pastor Joseph Ice expounded on the theme Empowered by Righteousness. He emphasized that righteousness is not just an action but an identity in Christ, which enables believers to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

Key Highlights:

  • It’s not just you who wants to please God; God also wants to please us. This statement set the foundation for understanding God’s immense love and commitment to His people.
  • Be mindful of the message you hear. Not all reports are worth believing; some can be contaminating. Therefore, discerning the right message is crucial.
  • There is a message for champions. God is more interested in our success than we even desire it ourselves.
  • Man is naturally drawn to the supernatural. There is an inherent longing in humanity for divine intervention and experiences.
  • We are not praying for success; we are in success. As believers, our victory is already established in Christ.
  • There is nothing that God is hiding from you (Romans 8:30-31). Our standing with God is firm and unshakable.
  • Your life is a finished product. With God, our destinies are concluded, and His plans for us are certain.
  • Nobody who looks up to God comfortably gets disappointed. God’s nature is to show mercy, and He is slow to anger and abundant in love.
  • Righteousness is first who you are before it is what you do (Ephesians 2:10, Hebrews 6:1). It is an identity that qualifies us to do good works.
  • Anything done outside the help of the Holy Ghost is a dead work. True righteousness leads to good works empowered by the Holy Spirit.
  • Righteousness surrounds us as a shield (Psalms 91:1). It provides divine protection and confidence in prayer.
  • Righteousness is a force (Isaiah 54:1-1). It empowers believers to accomplish God’s will and resist opposition.
  • You have to be wise to practice a way of being foolish. Wisdom is needed to navigate life effectively in righteousness.
  • Sit with the revelation of righteousness. Understanding and embracing righteousness deeply transforms a believer’s life and perspective.

Conclusion:

Righteousness is not just a requirement but a divine empowerment. It is what qualifies us for good works and ensures our success in God’s plan. As believers, embracing righteousness transforms our prayer life, decision-making, and overall walk with God. Let this revelation guide and empower you to walk in the fullness of God’s righteousness.
