Faith and Prosperity – Pastor Joseph Ice

In tonight’s midweek service, we explored key insights on faith, prosperity, and spiritual empowerment.

  • Faith Begins Where the Will of God is Known
Faith is built on understanding God’s will. Without knowing His will, it is impossible to act in true faith. As believers, our confidence stems from the clarity of God’s promises and His desire for us to prosper.

  • Prosperity is a Covenant Issue
Prosperity is not just about wealth but about living in covenant with God. It signifies using the power of God to meet human needs, reflecting His provision in every area of life.
  • Prosperity is Using the Power of God to Meet the Needs of Man
True prosperity is beyond material wealth. It is about utilizing God’s divine power to fulfill His purpose and meet the needs of others.
  • Be in Touch with the Power of God
To experience true success and breakthrough, staying connected to God’s power is crucial. Whether in times of need or trouble, knowing that you have a ransom through Christ gives you access to His supernatural help (Psalm 16:4).
  • Fear Empowers Demons, Faith Empowers Angels
Spiritual forces are influenced by your inner posture. Fear allows demonic activity, but faith activates angelic assistance. Walking in faith ensures that God’s promises are manifested in your life.
  • Remember You Have a Ransom in Times of Need
Whenever you face difficulties, remember the ransom that Jesus paid for you. His sacrifice covers every area of your life, ensuring your deliverance.
  • Luke 4:18 – Healing the Broken-Hearted
Part of Jesus’ ministry was to heal the broken-hearted, and as His followers, we carry the same mandate. We are called to bring healing and hope to those who are suffering, reflecting the love and power of Christ in action.
  • Money is Not Prosperity
Prosperity goes beyond financial success. It encompasses well-being in all areas—spiritual, emotional, and relational. Money is simply a tool, but true prosperity is rooted in God’s covenant promises.
  • Matthew 17:22 – The Power of God Makes a Way
God’s power is always at work to make a way, even in seemingly impossible situations. His intervention transcends natural limitations, reminding us that with Him, nothing is impossible.

This teaching is a powerful reminder to stay grounded in faith, rely on God’s power, and recognize that true prosperity is found in His covenant.
