In our journey as Christians, we are summoned to “fight the good fight of faith,” to transcend mere existence and embrace a life of spiritual victory.
Here’s a breakdown of how to become an untouchable Christian:
Active Engagement: As believers, we are not called to passively navigate through life but to actively engage in the fight of faith. It’s about taking a stand, not just minding our own business but being actively involved in the spiritual warfare that surrounds us.
Constant Faith: Our faith should not be stagnant but ever-reaching, continuously stretching out towards the promises of God. It’s this relentless faith that empowers us to overcome obstacles and withstand challenges.
Weaponizing God’s Word: In the battlefield of life, God’s Word is our most potent weapon. By using it to counter our experiences, doubts, and fears, we equip ourselves to emerge victorious in every circumstance.
Laying Hold on Eternal Life: The Greek word “Epilambano” encapsulates the idea of aggressively seizing hold of something. As Christians, we are called to aggressively pursue and lay hold of the eternal life that God promises us, refusing to let anything deter us from our ultimate prize.
Labouring for Truth: Understanding the truth of God’s Word requires diligent labour. It’s not a passive endeavour but a relentless pursuit of knowledge and revelation. In this fight, ignorance is not bliss, but truth is the key to victory.
Testing of Truth: The truth we hold onto will inevitably be tested. Challenges will arise, and doubts will assail us, but it’s in these moments that our unwavering faith and trust in God’s Word will prove unshakeable.
Two-Way Prayer: Prayer is not merely a one-sided conversation where we present our problems to God. It’s a dialogue—a two-way communication where God speaks back to us, providing guidance, comfort, and strength to endure.
